The Methodology of Teaching Harmony

Recommended for: teachers at tertiary level who teach harmony
Course description: Each of the five classes will work up one group of the typical alterations of Viennese Classical harmony: secondary dominants, diminished chords, minor subdominants, Neapolitan chord and chords with augmented sixth. The participants can get acquainted with the method of introducing these chord types and can have a glimpse into the several types of exercises that can deepen the knowledge of the students.
