Course in Music Education

Timetable of the Course in MUSIC EDUCATION
From Mon to Fri, 22 Jul – 2 Aug


9-9:20 — Warm-up
9:30-11:30 — Musicianship
11:45-12:45 — Conducting or ZeneZen Workshop
12:45-15:30 — optional individual voice/piano lessons
15:30-17 — Workshop of your choice (see list below)
17:15-18:15 — Choir led by Anna FŰRI
18:30-19:30 — optional individual voice/piano lessons
20- — Concert of the Kodály Festival, cultural events

Besides the daily vocal warm-up, choral singing, musicianship and conducting classes, participants will be able to choose ONE workshop/week which will run for 5 days. Some workshops are repeated in Week 2. Others are only offered either in Week 1 or Week 2.
The minimum number of participants in a workshop is 8.

Instead of the Conducting classes, participants will be able to choose the ZeneZen Workshop led by Katalin Körtvési and Anikó Novák:
ZeneZen, creative piano pedagogy from a child’s perspective

Optional Individual Piano/Voice lessons – with Anna Falvai, Zsuzsanna Takáts, Judit Rajk and János Klézli – are also available for participants of the Course in Music Education. Additional fees apply. See details here.

Piano Pedagogy Course participants (see further down the page) are entitled to request individual piano lessons as well with Anikó Novák.

* Piano Pedagogy Course participants are entitled to request individual lessons as well with Anikó Novák. These lessons are held in an open class format depending on the students choice, as part of the course.
