How to develop attentive music listening skill in the primary school
The aim of the course is to show how to focus children’s attention on musical processes through movement and singing. How to create the quiet, focused atmosphere that is essential for listening attentively to music. How abstraction can be used to open up children’s inner world through the music they listen to. How, as age and musical experience increase, the method of listening and the depth of understanding change.
